LIFE IN TIMES OF COVID19 TIMES (EL SALVADOR)

Salvadorans suddenly had to adapt to a very unusual lifestyle due to the COVID19 pandemic crisis, which also brought memories that reminded them of the past during the civil war. The state of emergency, the loss of free movement, unemployment and food shortages have been the hardest things for Salvadoran society, but the militarization, roadblocks and curfew brought back memories of the 12-year civil war, although this time it was because of the dangerous the Corona virus. The use of masks was demanded from the population and everything now takes longer and there is uncertainty about the future. For the time being, citizens are adapting to the new lifestyle.
